Obtaining The Music

There are several ways to obtain music from this web site.  All for FREE!  No gimmicks, no hidden costs, no mailing lists, no commercial advertisements.  100% freely given in God's love for you. 

We hope the following list of ideas will help you obtain this music.  Since all songs and materials on this web site are FREELY available in their entirety, please feel free to both download and distribute them as God leads you.

1. Patiently download some songs:
   
   This is the option that most people use to obtain our music.  Especially those with a slow Internet connection.  Here's what to do...
   1. Right-click (click with the right mouse button) the Download MP3 link for a song and select Save Target As... 
       
      
       
   2. Then select a location on your computer to save the file and click Save.
        
        
   3. Wait patiently for the song to download.  It may take several minutes to download if you have a slow Internet connection...
       
      
       
      If you're patient and have some time, you should be able to download several songs this way.  Once a song is downloaded, you should be able to double-click it on your local computer, in the location where you saved it, and it will begin playing.
       
2. Download a ZIP file: 
   
   If you have a high-speed internet connection, you can download an entire album of MP3 songs by clicking the Download ZIP file link just under the title of an album.  The ZIP file contains ALL of the MP3 files for that album.  After a ZIP file downloads to your computer you can open the ZIP file to access the MP3 music files inside the ZIP file.  This will save you some time by eliminating the need to download all the songs individually.
    
3. Listen to an album via streaming media:
   
   If you have a high-speed Internet connection, you can listen to a streaming album online.  Click the Listen To This Album link found just under the title of an album.  This is a link to an M3U file which will open your computer's music player (such as Windows Media Player) and play all the songs on an album, allowing you to skip forward and back between songs.
    
4. Request CDs:
   
   If you have tried to download music from this web site and are unable to download it, we would like to help.  Since ScriptureSongs.net has an international presence on the web, and our local resources are limited, we would like to ask you to try some things before requesting CDs.  You still may have some options for obtaining the music:
    
   1. Ask a friend, neighbor, relative, someone nearby if they already have a set of CDs.  If so, please ask if they will burn a copy for you.  This is our preferred method of distribution: person-to-person, heart-to-heart.  :-)  [see Ephesians 4.16]
       
   2. Ask someone with a fast Internet connection to download some songs for you, and possibly burn a CD for you. 
       
   3. If you can download the songs, but can't burn an Audio CD, ask a teenager or someone you know with computer skills to help you burn a CD.  This might be a good way to share Jesus with someone in the family!  :-)
       
   4. If you can burn Audio CDs, please make copies and give to friends, family, loved ones locally.  This is how we envision the Body of Christ operating: organically and locally, building itself up in love.  [see Ephesians 4.16] 
       
      Resources exist in the Body of Christ to distribute CDs to one another, and we don't expect to be the only source of CDs for everyone everywhere.  Please jump in and bless someone personally, locally, and face-to-face with this and other FREE music!
       
   5. Request CDs: If none of the above work for you, we'll be happy to ship you some CDs.  Please feel free to send your request for CDs to:

      When you receive your CDs in the mail, please do not send money in return.  Money is not what is happening here.  Thank you.  :-)

To Our Many International Visitors:

We desperately want to ship CDs to you internationally (outside of the US).  However... our local resources are limited! The cost to ship to international destinations is between $8 and $15 US dollars for EACH package -- and costs are increasing due to increasing worldwide fuel prices.  We are not a business or a money generating entity.  We are just individual people who love Jesus Who loves you.  So we hope you can see how shipping internationally can be cost prohibitive for us.
 
However, Jesus is the WAY and He has many creative ways and means at His disposal. 

Our hope and prayer is that many who live outside the US will be able to download music from this web site or from other sources and freely receive spiritual encouragement from God. 

We also hope some of our international visitors will consider making copies of the CDs to distribute locally within their own countries.

Generally, we hope that others in the Body of Christ will share this music by making copies of CDs and either shipping them or carrying them to international destinations. 

Our expectation is that we will NOT be the sole distributor of the messages being conveyed by these songs.  So please jump in and bless someone personally, locally, and face-to-face with this and other FREE spiritual music!  :-)
